Growing Stage Production of
The Wind in the Willows
Directed by Mae and Seja Foster
Come join Toad and his friends – Mole, Badger, and Water Rat, as they try and cope with his obsession with motorcars and attempt to protect his home – Toad Hall, from the Ferrets and Weasels. Based on the book by Kenneth Grahame, this children’s classic will be sure to please audiences of all ages.
Auditions are open to children ages 8-18. Note, this is non-musical. Auditions for our children’s musical revue “Disney’s Dare to Dream” will be in early November. Keep a lookout for those dates.
For children ages 8-12, the audition will consist of reading from the script. Please do not worry about this, you don’t need to prepare anything. Our team is very kind and patient. Just be ready to have some fun!
For children ages 13-18 please prepare a short monologue if possible. A minute or two would be fine. It does not have to be memorized. This is encouraged but not required. You will also do some reading from the script. Again, we want this to be stress free.
Saturday, October 4 & Sunday, October 5 @ 2pm
All auditions will be held at the BST Performing Arts Center (1644 First Avenue N). Between Montana Ave and First Ave N.
The Wind in the Willows will perform from January 9-18, 2026.
