THE 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee
Synopsis – An eclectic group of six mid-pubescents vie for the spelling championship of a lifetime. While candidly disclosing hilarious and touching stories from their home lives, the tweens spell their way through a series of (potentially made-up) words, hoping never to hear the soul-crushing, pout-inducing, life un-affirming “ding” of the bell that signals a spelling mistake. Six spellers enter; one speller leaves the champion! At least the losers get a juice box.
Show plays – February 27, 28, March 1*, 5, 6, 7, 8*, 12, 13, 14, 15*

Auditions are open to ages 16 and older: *Show contains mature content*
Important info – Please prepare a song (not from the show) with a karaoke/backing track and a short monologue acting like a kid (if auditioning for one of the kid roles). Monologue should be a minute or so and memorized if possible (if not no biggie). Also, be prepared to cold read from the script.
Auditions will be held at BST on December 15th and 16th at 7pm! Hope to see you there!!
