Synopsis Set on the glamorous French Riviera, Dirty
Rotten Scoundrels is a lively comedy that follows two con artists as they take
on the lifestyles of the rich and shameless. Lawrence Jameson is a cultivated
and suave gentleman who cons rich women out of their money. The other, a
small time crook named Freddy, who swindles women by telling fabricated stories
about his sick grandmother. Although they try to work together, they soon
discover that their beautiful French town is not big enough for the both of
them. They agree to a contest-the first to swindle a young woman out of $50,000
wins and the other must leave town. The battle of cons begins with much
hilarity and plot twists! Based on the 1988 movie starring Steve Martin
