Synopsis
This bittersweet comedy is the story of three
widows who are best friends. Each is in a different stage of moving on
with her life. Once a month they meet for tea before making the routine
visit to their husband's graves. Ida is sweet tempered and ready to begin
a new life, Lucille is feisty and just wants to have fun, and Doris is content
to simply remember the husband she loved. Suddenly, Sam the butcher enters
the scene and fight erupts over the attention one widow is given. The
Cemetery Club is a humorous ode to golden age, friendship and romance.
