Synopsis

Okay- the title is boring but the musical is terrific, winning more Tony awards than any other musical in 2006- maybe the best show in our season. The Drowsy Chaperone boldly addresses a great unspoken desire in all of your hearts: to be entertained. If you ever sat in a dark theatre and thought, "Dear Lord in heaven, please let it be good." this is the show for you! It all begins when a die-hard musical theatre fan plays his favorite album, The Drowsy Chaperone, and the show magically burst to life. We are instantly immersed in the glamorous, hilarious tale of a celebrity starlet trying to find and keep her true love.
